THE SHORT VERSION
ONE LINE
GridJoy is a calm, ad-free Android app with 18 number-puzzle types and a ghost companion — no words, no ads, no internet needed.
ONE PARAGRAPH
GridJoy is a one-person puzzle app that puts 18 different number and logic puzzles — Sudoku, Kakuro, Calcudoku, Shikaku, four kinds of maze and more — into a single calm, wordless Android app. Every puzzle generates on the device, so it works with no connection and no account. There are no ads of any kind, no in-app purchases and no subscription. A ghost companion, dressed in cosmetics earned by playing, gives the whole thing its character.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
Wordless by design
There is no text puzzle in GridJoy and no written instructions in the puzzles themselves. Every type teaches itself through numbers and grid logic, which is why the same build ships to six languages without a translation pass on the gameplay.
Eighteen types, not one type dressed eighteen ways
Sudoku, Killer Sudoku, Kakuro, Calcudoku, Shikaku, Hitori, Takuzu, Skyscraper, Futoshiki, Sumplete, Starlink, Number Blocks, Number Crossword, Countdown, and four maze families. Each is a genuinely different way of thinking, not a reskin.
A ghost, not a shop
The mascot is a companion that grows with the player. Hats, faces, halos and backgrounds are all earned by playing — there is nothing to buy, and no cosmetic is locked behind money.
Free without the catch
No ads, no subscription, no energy bars, no cooldown timers, no account required. It is funded by one person and an optional tip jar that unlocks nothing.
