Daily Number Crossword
One puzzle for everyone, every day. Each numbered run is a sum — work it out, then write the answer one digit per cell. Where runs cross, the digits must agree. Tap a cell then a digit, or use your keyboard (0–9, arrows, Backspace).
Tap a cell to see its clue, then enter the answer's digits.

Number Crossword is a crossword built from arithmetic instead of words. Every numbered run — across or down — comes with a small sum in the clue list. Work out the answer, then write it into the run one digit per cell, so a three-cell run holds a three-digit number. Wherever an across run crosses a down run, the shared cell's digit has to satisfy both sums at once — that crossing constraint is what makes it a puzzle rather than a worksheet.
THE RULES
- Each numbered run has a clue — an arithmetic expression.
- Write each clue's answer into its run, one digit per open cell.
- Shared cells where two runs cross must work for both clues at once.
- Clue cells are blocked — nothing goes in them.
BEGINNER STRATEGY
- Start with the shortest runs. A two-cell clue has far fewer possibilities, so it pins digits the longer runs can borrow.
- Use the crossings. Once one run fixes a shared cell, that digit is a free clue for the run crossing through it.
- Mind the leading digit. An answer's first cell is its highest place value — it can't be 0 on a multi-digit run.
- Compute carefully. Powers (²,³), factorials (!) and × follow normal order of operations.
